Grazy-Dog is a new Japa-dog-like food stand that I found in Richmond outside of Gua Hua Taiwanese Shop (They sell import Taiwanese junk food, etc). You can choose the kind of hot dogs you want (all beef, bavarian, or brautwurst), and then choose your special dog toppings. I got the Spicy Thai Dog with bratwurst sausage. It's a little pricy at $6, but it tasted pretty good.

Over the weekend, I visited a really authentic Japanese restaurant, Shima Ya Sushi. This place is own by Fukushima (Shima is his nickname). The owner was nice enough to offer us sampling of this special soup - Salmon Kasu Shiru (a soup made with the byproduct of sake (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sake_kasu). The rest of the food was equally fresh and tasty. It's a place that will be permanently programmed in my phone. :)

The concept is really simple. A heated stone pot with tofu soup and you pick the main ingredients (mushroom, beef, pork, seafood, or mix), and how spicy you want it.
